Abstract:
This study explores the impact of hybrid learning (combining online and face-to-face instruction) on student engagement across three faculties at Abdulrasaq Abubakar Toyin University. Using a mixed-method approach, the research evaluates participation rates, academic performance, and student satisfaction in blended learning environments. Findings suggest a significant improvement in engagement, particularly among students with flexible access to digital tools and support systems. The paper recommends institutional investment in virtual infrastructure and lecturer training to scale hybrid models across Nigerian tertiary institutions.
